Born in Kuruvel Timbenahalli, a small yet vibrant village known for its simplicity and community values, Sreeramu grew up understanding the importance of dedication, ethics, and service to society. These foundational principles shaped his personality and career choices from an early age.

His academic journey began with a deep interest in science and technology, which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chitradurga. During his college years, he exhibited a strong curiosity for electrical systems and infrastructure — a field that would later define his professional path. His commitment to learning and his ability to translate theory into practice earned him respect among his peers and mentors alike.

After completing his BE, Sreeramu began his professional career as a Lecturer at HMS Institute of Technology (HMSIT), Tumkur. His role as an educator allowed him to shape young engineering minds and share his practical knowledge and passion for the subject. During his tenure, he focused on bridging the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications, earning appreciation from students and faculty members for his clarity, patience, and dedication to teaching.

Sreeramu transitioned from teaching to working as an Inspector in the Electrical Department in Mangalore. Over the course of five years, he played an instrumental role in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across several electrical projects. His keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic helped improve efficiency and reliability in various departmental operations. Colleagues often remember him as someone who led by example — a professional who combined technical precision with a genuine sense of responsibility toward the public. His time in Mangalore strengthened his understanding of infrastructure management and project execution, setting the stage for higher responsibilities.

Building upon this experience, Sreeramu later joined PDW, Bangalore, as an Executive, where he worked for two years. In this role, he brought his wealth of field experience and leadership capabilities to oversee projects, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure that departmental goals were met with integrity and transparency. His approach was not merely administrative — he focused on empowering his team, maintaining accountability, and streamlining operations to deliver better outcomes for both the department and the community it serves.

As an Executive Engineer at the Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB), Sreeramu played a pivotal role in overseeing power distribution, maintenance, and infrastructure development across key regions. His responsibilities spanned from planning and executing electrical projects to ensuring uninterrupted power supply and adherence to safety standards. Under his leadership, several initiatives focused on modernization and efficiency improvement were successfully implemented. Known for his problem-solving approach and technical acumen, he effectively coordinated between departments, field staff, and contractors to achieve timely project completion. His tenure at KEB reflects a commitment to reliability, innovation, and service to the public.
